Taylor Swift sweeps the south

Fans around the south traveled to New Orleans Sept. 22 to see Taylor Swift in concert along with opening acts Camila Cabello and Charli XCX. More than 53,000 supporters filled the Superdome with glowing bracelets to light up the night. Swift mentioned it was her first time performing at the Dome, but that didn’t stop her from “Shaking it off” on stage. Along with adoring fans, Swift had celebrities such as Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose there to support her performance. She also brought her very own feline friends, Meredith and Olivia to meow along backstage while she performed hits such as “…Ready For It?” and “Bad Blood.”

The pop icon set a box office record in attendance on Saturday night as audience members made history with numbers. The Reputation Stadium Tour is in support of Swift’s sixth studio album, which concludes in Tokyo on Nov. 21. On Saturday, fans witnessed the Superstar hinting at her own reputation as snakes played a vital role throughout the concert. Before the show, Swift met fans in a VIP room for brief visits and photos. After the show, Swift’s fans flooded out of the stadium in awe of the rock star performance they just witnessed.
