Klay Thompson scores sixty points

JCJC Student Manuel Alvarado reviewing Klay Thompson's Big Game.

National Basketball Association superstar, Klay Thompson, had decided that it is his time to shine. With Stephen Curry being the main star of California’s Golden State Warriors, Thompson has to live up to a high expectation. Thompson shocked the crowd by showing them that he was just as good as Curry by scoring 60 points in 29 minutes during the Dec. 5 game against the Indiana Pacers.

Thompson is the first Warriors’ player to score 60 points since Rick Barry in 1974. Though the points are considered a historical event, his shooting techniques are nothing new. He did his basic routines. The only difference was that he got the ball more often. Though many other players have done this feat, such as Kobe Bryant, it is nice to see a young player like Thompson earn the current status that he is now.
