Last week on March 21, the Lady Bobcats battled the New Mexico Thunderbirds at the Rip Griffin Center of Lubbock Christian University.
Team player Keyara Jones, who is a JC freshman, put JC in the lead 17-13 by the end of the first quarter. The scores between the Thunderbirds and Bobcats went back and forth. Unfortunately the game ended with Jones losing the game but thankfully never losing their spirit.
The Lady Bobcats ended their season at 28-3 and made the NJCAA Division Women’s Tournament for the third year in a row.
