JCJC women’s soccer continues winning ways

The JCJC women’s soccer team has laid waste to their opponents this season. With a record of 8-1-1 the Bobcats are prime to have a great run in the Region 23 playoffs. But all the winning the Bobcats have been doing lately hasn’t come without some hiccups.

The latest scare for the Bobcats was their match against Southwest Community College on Oct. 6. The Bobcats would take the victory over Southwest with a score of 1-0. Aimee Durn would make the lone goal of the game with less than three minutes left in the final half.

After that tough-fought win, the Bobcats would travel to Meridian Community College on Oct. 10. The Bobcats would pull together another close win against the Lady Eagles with a score of 3-2.

The Lady Bobcats will be back in action when they travel to Pearl River Community College on Oct. 17 at 5 p.m . This will be the Bobcats’ final regular season match of the season, so show up and support your Lady Bobcats.
