It’s been a close season for JCJC men’s basketball. With nine victories and seven losses it’s hard to tell how the team will finish this season out.
At the recent Bobcat’s home game on Jan. 25, the men hustled hard and took the victory over East Central with a score of 68-61. Freshman forward Malik Henry dominated the court, scoring 22 points and four rebounds, earning him the title of Player of the Week. The Bobcats got off to a slow start at the away game in Meridian, Mississippi on Jan. 29 against the Meridian Community College Eagles, causing them to fall behind in the end with a score of 73-79. Freshman guard Mason Daniels was able to make a leading basket early on, but the Eagles would take the lead with a 13-0 streak.
