The 2016-2017 school year has been a very pleasing year for Jones County Junior College. JCJC athletics has done very well for themselves this season. It’s not easy to keep up consistent momentum and focus on academics, but every team has been applying themselves to the fullest.
The JCJC Bobcat football team ended their season with an impressive 6-3 overall record. Leading in to basketball season, the men and women’s teams both showed great athleticism on the court. The men’s basketball team ended their season with an overall score of 29-2, and the Lady Bobcats concluded their season with a record breaking score of 30-2. Although softball and baseball season is not complete, the teams are showing determination, and fans can confidently have high expectations for these teams based on their winning streaks so far.
