Bobcats defeat Hinds

No. 18 Bobcats played No. 12 Hinds Eagles Thursday night at the Bobcat Stadium/Sim Cooley Field at 7 p.m. This game was the 13th annual Hall of Fame game at Jones. Former football standout Daryl L. Terrell, former men’s basketball coach Jay L. Ladner and former baseball coach Christian Ostrander were inducted into the Bobcat Sports Hall of Fame.

Bobcat running back Ladamian Webb scored in the first 3 quarters leading Bobcats 21-7, with the help of kicker C. Thompson scoring his field goals. In the 4th quarter the score was 28-7, with Brodie King scoring a touchdown and C. Thompsons’ field goal. C. Thompson scored again ending the game with the final score being 31-7. Bobcats are now 2-1. On Thursday at 7 p.m. they will head to No. 5 Mississippi Gulf Coast for a division showdown.
