JCJC has had a storied past with many victories in both men’s and women’s sports. The Bobcats can now add two more championships to their trophy room.
The Jones football team won the south division title with a win over Hinds Community College on Oct. 21. With the win over the Eagles, the Bobcats secured their championship and gave them a second seed in the upcoming playoffs.
JCJC women’s soccer also won their second consecutive south division title. The Lady Bobcats were by far the best team in their division with an overall record of 8-2-1 and a conference record of 4-1-1.
Don’t expect these teams to stop their winning ways as the playoffs begin in November. With both teams winning the south division titles, they will have the greatest chance out of any team to go far into the playoffs. Don’t forget to go out and support your Bobcats in their post-season efforts to bring home a national championship.
