Bobcats blow past Hinds

The JCJC Men’s Basketball team put up another great performance against Hinds Community College on Jan. 11. The Bobcats came away with another home victory after a second half comeback. The Bobcats would triumph over the Eagles with the score of 76-64.
After falling to an 38-24 halftime lead to Hinds, the Bobcats would slowly start their comeback. The Bobcats were led in scoring by freshman forward Malik Henry with 19 points, all coming in the second half. Henry and the Bobcats would take control of the game in the second half, outscoring the Eagles in the final six minutes of the game with the Bobcats scoring 22 points to Hinds’ 8. This win against Hinds improves the Bobcats record to 7-4, 2-0 in conference play. The next game for the Bobcats will be against East Central Community College on Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m on the campus of JCJC. Don’t forget to show up and support your Bobcats to a victory.
