Trump brings in Republicans

On Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, the United States declared its next president as Donald Trump. Trump represents the Republican party, so naturally he wants the majority of his government to represent that party as well.

An increase of Republicans in Congress could mean many things. Trump will probably build up the nation’s military and gain more respect for the U.S. The government may have less control over our lives, pro-life campaigns could even be put into action, and many would find these decisions to benefit our country.

Over the last several years, it has been the opinion of many Trump supporters that the rights of Americans have been threatened. Policies such as gun control and healthcare have diminished the power of the people. Trump has the ability to gain back the rights lost.

As a highly successful businessman, Trump has the ability to help bring the country out of debt by making the government more streamlined and efficient.

Americans should put aside their differences and give Trump a chance. He really does have the potential to “make America great again.” We the people should unite as the United States of America, not as Democrats and Republicans.
