In today’s world, Halloween is the one day that people can dress up to be whoever they want to be. This can include characters of all shapes, sizes, and types. Some of the costumes are not PG-rated though. Many young men and women choose to wear revealing and scandalous costumes to show off what assets they may have. This is not necessarily the best idea.
Halloween is held during the late fall. That means the weather is cooler and often raining. The revealing costumes can leave skin to open air and the wearer can get cold really quickly. Revealing costumes are also often judged by the older generation. People quickly make comments about the wearer’s personal character instead of seeing it as merely light hearted. These skimpy costumes are also often expensive. The amount of cloth available is not worth the price.
These costumes may seem like a lot of fun to wear, but the chill, cost and judgment just aren’t worth it. When choosing your costume this year, choose something you can be comfortable in. You don’t have to bare it all to have fun on Halloween.
