Match, eHarmony, Zoosk, Ourtime. All of these names have one thing in common: they are all dating websites.
Many people have different thoughts, opinions and feelings about dating websites, all of which can be summed into three categories.
For some people, the thought of an online dating service makes them cringe and think, “Why would anyone use one of those?” Others think of online dating and remember fondly how they met their boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband; these people are typically glad that they went out on a limb to find him or her.
Still others, like myself, are indifferent towards online dating. I think that it can definitely work for some people and be a wonderful experience where two people meet and spend the rest of their lives together.
However, I, like the majority of people, have heard horror stories of people meeting that person online and said person being nothing like the profile. Of course, people can even lie about who they are if you are meeting them in person; it is always a risk when you open your heart to someone, but I think it is a chance worth taking. Whether it is through online dating or the traditional face-to-face, the decision is up to you.
