Kanye West made headlines once again when he visited the White House last week to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump. During his time in the Oval Office, West delivered a speech on topics like racism, prison reform and arts education. This is not the first time President Trump and West have met.
In an interview with Fox and Friends, President Trump spoke highly of West calling him, “a friend of mine,” and “ a terrific guy.” Trump also made comments about the possibility of a presidential run for West.
West’s visit to the White House came with a heap of criticism from other hip-hop artists, but the criticism doesn’t phase him. He declared earlier this year that, “the mob cannot make him abandon President Trump.” While the friendship is a little strange, President Trump and West wholeheartedly support each other.
