Express views without fear of judgment

The United States constitution has an amendment that guarantees freedom of speech. However, it does not guarantee the freedom from judgment. U.S. citizens can express their opinion as openly as they want, but they may face serious repercussions for it. College students are especially vulnerable to these judgments.

College is a time of self discovery and expression. Students should take this time to discover and express their political and moral views. Many don’t due to the fear of being judged by their peers. These people may never end up expressing their ideas because it may hurt job chances, friendships and relationships.

There should be no fear or serious judgment when it comes to opinions. Everyone has different ideas and expressing them can lead to possible good. There is no guarantee that there will be a tomorrow. Express your thoughts now.
