Although the COVID-19 pandemic has had a detrimental effect on countries around the world, there has been a positive impact on the environment. With social distancing being the new norm, there has been a decrease in air and water pollution.
Society has struggled to acknowledge the fact that the earth and its environment needed a break from all the contamination that humans have created.
This pandemic has allowed the earth to breathe and create new life again. Unfortunately, it took a widespread virus to decrease human productivity. Among this decrease, people have visually begun to see the environmental impact of their social distancing.
Every community needs to start creating better habits for the welfare of the future.
