Many clubs and organizations on campus require community service as part of the requirements for membership to their group. Although some students dread putting forth effort for free, it is a necessary part of becoming a well-rounded person.
College is not only a time to further one’s education but also to learn how to contribute to society. It is important for all people, including college students, to give back to their area. After all, we are the future generation, so it is up to us to make the world a better place.
