Treats in the streets to be held on Halloween

The Student Government Association at JCJC will host their annual Treats in the Streets on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. There will be no admission fee and everyone is encouraged to participate. It will be held on the grass in front of Jones Hall.

There will be booths, games, inflatables and a costume contest. For infants to kids age 12 the judging will begin at 5:30 p.m. Immediately following, the contest for JCJC students will be held at 6 p.m.

In addition to activities, food options will be available. The cafeteria on campus will be open for dinner. The cost to eat for ages 4 to 9 is $4.50, and ages 10 and up is $7.25. In the Union, Bobcat Grill will be open until 8 p.m. and Taco Bell will remain open until 9 p.m. Treats in the Streets is a rain or shine event, and if the weather conditions are not favorable for younger ages the event might be modified, relocated or cancelled.
