Lights, music and prizes transformed the Home and Health auditorium into a game show on Sept. 26. Student Government Association brought in “the Orlo show” which travels around the country for the entertainment of colleges and other organizations. The show consisted of exercises such as minute to win it games or trivia.
At the beginning of the show the audience was asked a series of Title IX questions for points. Not only did the knowledge improve students’ scores but also raised awareness of the prevalence of sexual assault and harassment. Students were also asked pop culture trivia such as naming a movie or actor. The minute to win it games consisted of contestants having 60 seconds to complete tasks such as keeping three balloons in the air. Each winner received a small sum of money for their achievement. Audience members were also able to earn candy for their participation.
