Students prepare for final exams

Final examination week is rapidly approaching as fall semester comes to an end. Final exams will be held Monday, Dec. 12 through Thursday, Dec. 15. The exam schedule has been emailed to Jones County Junior College students through gmail.

On Monday, Dec. 12, period A exams will be from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m, period C 9:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m., period E 12:30 p.m until 3 p.m. and period G 3:15 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. On Tuesday, Dec. 13, period 2 exams will be from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., period 4 10:45 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. and period 6 1:30 p.m until 4 p.m. On Wednesday, Dec. 14, period B exams will be from 8 a.m until 10:30 a.m, period D 10:45 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. and period F 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. On Thursday, Dec. 15, period 1 exams will be from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m, period 3 9:45 a.m until 12:15 p.m and period 5 12:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Vocational exams will be given Tuesday, Dec 12 at 7:30 a.m. Evening class exams will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12 through Thursday Dec. 15 and will correspond with the day of the week the class is held.

In order to reduce stress during exam week, Phi Theta Kappa, along with the Student Government Association, will be sponsoring “Stress Less Week.” This week will consist of various activities designed to reduce stress.  PTK will also be selling t-shirts during exam week.
