On Nov. 14 students brought suggestions regarding campus life to the SGA senators in the Home and Health Auditorium.
Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Sam Jones, and head of women’s housing were also in attendance to listen to students’ concerns in order to work toward solutions. The meeting began with SGA vice president Hannah Burks opening the meeting. From there, each senator introduced themselves and what area of JCJC they represent.
Old business from the spring semester was revived with resolutions. The floor was then opened to new business. Pressing issues of the night included the locked door in Anderson Hall, bike racks in front of male residence halls and parking lot issues around campus. For more information regarding the remaining issues discussed, students can contact the senator representing the dormitory or department they belong to.
