In an effort to encourage more students to take advantage of vaccination opportunities, Jones College has provided tuition discounts to all vaccinated students and free tuition for one student whose name was drawn at last night’s football game.

On Thursday, Sept. 9, Samantha Bishop was randomly chosen during the JCJC Hall of Fame game against Northwest to win a $1875 full tuition scholarship.

So far, approximately 100 students have capitalized on the incentives by providing proof of vaccination and in doing so, have automatically received a $50 tuition discount.

Four of those 100 students were randomly selected to get an additional $470 scholarship.

The winners of those $470 awards are Elizabeth Gustafsan, Mackenzie Goleman, Cameron Glenn, and Katherine Lollis.
