Residual ACT to be held on campus

Jones County Junior College gives students the opportunity to take the Residual ACT.

Residual ACT testing is available for students who are enrolled, have been admitted or have applied to JCJC. The Residual ACT is only accepted at JCJC. The score will not transfer to other colleges, and it cannot be used for MTAG.  Students must wait 60 days before they can retake any future ACT exams. The same rules and restrictions of a normal ACT apply to the Residual ACT.

Testing will be held in the Terrell Tisdale Library Projection Room 223 from 7:50 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Check-in begins at 7:50 a.m., but students are advised to arrive and be ready to check in from 7:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. There is no prior registration required, space is limited and students will be only admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Students must have $45–cash only–in hand, along with some form of photo identification the morning of the test.  Also, students need to bring two sharpened #2 pencils and a calculator that meets the ACT guidelines. It is suggested to bring a jacket because temperatures may vary.

For more information, call the Student Success Center at 601-477-4050.
