LLT holds auditions for ‘The Last Night of Ballyhoo’

Laurel Little Theatre has auditions coming up Monday, November 15 and Tuesday, November 16 for the Southern comedy “THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO.”  Auditions are set for 7 p.m. each night at LLT’s downtown Arabian Theatre.

No preparation necessary, just show up and read from the script with everyone else.

The comedy is written by the same author as “DRIVING MISS DAISY” and it’s set during the film premiere of “GONE WITH THE WIND” in Atlanta in 1939.

Jones College VP/CFO Rick Youngblood is directing the show and needs a cast of four females and three males – all playing parts in their 20s-40s.  Rehearsals will start three nights a week the first month with additional nights closer to the show’s opening next February.
