Jones County Junior College invites all sophomore students participating in the Spring 2018 graduation ceremony to a Sophomore Lunch that will be held on Friday April 27, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Plaza located in front of the C.L. Neil Student Center. In case of inclement weather, the luncheon will be held in the D.O. Thomas Physical Education Building.
Graduation practice will be held immediately following the Sophomore Lunch at 12:30 p.m. in the Union. This is the only graduation practice, so all graduates are encouraged to attend. After graduation practice, students will receive their caps and gowns.
The Spring 2018 graduation ceremony will be held May 4, 2018. Students with last names A-L will graduate at 9 a.m. in A.B. Howard Gymnasium. These graduates are expected to meet in the Union no later than 8:30. Students with last names M-Z will graduate at 1 p.m. in the A.B. Howard Gymnasium. These graduates are expected to meet in the Union by 12:30 p.m.
