Jones College will host its fall blood drive Sept. 23, 24 and 25 at the D.O. Thomas P.E. Building from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both students and staff at Jones are encouraged by Vitalant, the blood center visiting campus, to donate. Up to three lives can be saved with a single donation, and every two seconds, someone is in need of blood.
Phi Theta Kappa, a service-based organization at Jones, will assist Vitalant with the blood drive by managing sign-in sheets, handing out snacks and handing out shirts to donors. PTK is also encouraging its members to donate.
