Jones College’s theatre department is set to perform the hit Broadway musical Hairspray. Jennifer Bruton, fine arts instructor, is directing the play. Tryouts were held Nov. 5, but the cast list has not yet been decided. Many students attended the tryouts- including those also involved in Jones On Stage, concert choir and even band. While much work is still ahead, the JCJC production is anticipated to be a big hit.
Currently, show week is set Feb. 24 – March 9. Students should check emails for purchase of tickets and possible show week changes. Students are also encouraged to attend the performance.
