Treats in the Streets once again proved to be a big hit at Jones College last Tuesday. Even with a steady downpour most of the night, families came out to the Bobcat Stadium at Sim Cooley Field to partake in all of the festivities the many organizations had to offer.
Children enjoyed trick-or-treating as well as a costume contest and a bounce house. Jones students, faculty and staff set up multiple booths around Sim Cooley Field which offered activities for anyone who wanted to participate. From “fishing” to frisbee throwing, children were entertained in multiple ways thanks to the many organizations around campus with a booth.
Jones students are given a huge opportunity to become more involved around campus with Fall Freeze week and especially with Treats in the Streets. Students get to hand out candy to the many who attended the event, aid in setting up the booth specific to the organization they are involved in and enjoy the night alongside the crowd.
