The Spring Transfer Fair will be Feb. 27 – March 3 on the first floor of Jones Hall from 9 a.m. till noon.
The transfer fair is an opportunity for students to meet one-on-one with representatives from colleges and universities to discuss their programs, admission policies, campus life and financial aid. In addition to colleges and university representatives, various agencies will be attending as well.
Transferring to another institution is a process and requires proper preparation and planning. Each institution determines their own degree requirements. Most colleges have three ways to transfer: earn an associate degree with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, complete the 30 hours of courses with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA or meet the requirements for entering freshmen.
Over 20 colleges, universities and agencies have been invited to attend, including the University of Mississippi, University of Southern Mississippi, Mississippi State University, William Carey University, Belhaven University, Mississippi College and the FBI.
