Why travel to the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street when JCJC is safer and cheaper? Made possible by the contributions of the SGA, JCJC will be the host of a very exciting Mardi Gras dance Thursday, Feb. 8 in the Student Union. The dance will be held 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. Tickets will cost $3 for one person and $5 for a couple. No date? No problem, since the dance promotes a laid-back atmosphere with no date requirement. Although, if anyone wants to bring a date, it should be noted that dates can be those who do not attend JCJC.
The attire is set at a “dress your best” level, meaning that each participant should dress as nicely as one’s wardrobe will allow. Anything from khakis and polos to prom gowns is valid. Mardi Gras masks are welcome, too.
