As October nears its end, events at Jones College seem to be getting more cumulative and, well, more spooky. Of course October is filled with all sorts of Homecoming affairs, but there’s also one holiday this month that Jones takes full advantage of – Halloween.
Last week, the classic film Hocus Pocus was shown in the M.P. Bush Fine Arts Building, somewhat initiating the fall festivities on campus. Other events students can look forward to are Fall Freeze Week, the costume contest, dance and Treats in the Streets.
Students can begin signing up to work at booths for the Treats in the Streets event scheduled for Oct. 30. Students should also keep an eye out for any posters around the campus and emails relating to Fall Freeze events happening around campus.
