There will be a blood drive Sept. 26-28 in the P.E. Building at Jones County Junior College. The United Blood Services will be on campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. They would like for everyone who is eligible to donate.  Although appointments are preferred, walk-ins are also acceptable.
Each donation can save up to three lives. Approximately 32,000 pints of blood are used in America annually. The process of donating blood typically only takes up to 10 – 12 minutes to complete.
Any further questions regarding the blood drive should be directed to Ms. Sonya Dykes at (601) 477-4229.
