Jones County Junior College’s Fine Arts Department is hosting its annual Spring Recital Series that will take place throughout the rest of the spring semester. The remaining performances will be 12:25-12:55 p.m. in the Foote Chapel on the Fridays of March 31, April 7 and 21. The event is free and open to students as well as the public.
The March 31 performance will feature Richard Perry and Tracy Bedgood on tuba and Ellen Elder on piano playing pieces by Dumitru Ionel and John Stevens.
World-renowned clarinetist Victor Chavez, Jr. and pianist Dr. Jonathan Jung will perform works by Sergei Prokofiev and Ronn Yedidia on April 7.
On April 21, the “Voices of Passion,” features tenor Nicholas Perna, soprano Amanda Spivak and pianist Tyler Kemp, professors at Mississippi College.
