JCJC art show exhibits Mississippi talent

JCJC holds a total of six amazing art exhibits for not only the college’s student and faculty but also the general public.  October’s show exhibited the work of Thomas Jackson of Tupelo, Mississippi.

Melanie Eubanks, director of the show, said that she likes to feature local talents and artists from Mississippi.  It is a form of learning and inspiration for the art students attending Jones.

Shows usually last for approximately four weeks and the most current show ended Friday, Oct. 26.  The next show will feature the work of Charlie Mabry and will open Nov. 5.  There is no admission fee and no need to make donations.  All one has to do is simply sign in via the guest book located outside the gallery and leave the reason for visiting.
