Bobcats from several decades to gather for Homecoming

The long-awaited homecoming week has finally arrived. Bobcats from several decades will reunite at Bobcat Stadium Oct. 21 to watch the Jones County Junior College football team go head-to-head against Hinds Community College, the 2017 homecoming court adorn the field, and the marching band perform their halftime show.

A glow-in-the-dark pep rally will be held on Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. by the lake. Also, the cheerleaders will sell t-shirts during the week of homecoming. Official homecoming festivities will begin Saturday morning with the annual parade through downtown at 10 a.m. Spectators are allowed to tailgate before the game. The Bobcats will battle the Eagles at 2 p.m. All Bobcats young and old are invited to attend JCJC’s homecoming because, “Once A Bobcat, Always A Bobcat.”
