Bobcats face off against Pearl River for Homecoming weekend

Homecoming is approaching fast as students look forward to the activities planned to celebrate the return of alumni and watch the Bobcats go head-to-head with Pearl River Community College.

Kick off is Saturday, October 5 at 2 p.m. at Bobcat Stadium at Sim Cooley Field. Jcjc.tv will televise the game and SuperTalk Radio will also air the game on their station, 99.3 FM for those unable to attend.

As for Homecoming week, the Alumni Association has planned several events on campus for students and alumni to enjoy.

Friday, October 4

5 p.m. JCJC Class of 1955 Reunion Dinner, C. L. Neill Student Center

Saturday, October 5

9 a.m. Alumni and Friends Brunch, Terrell Tisdale Library

10 a.m. Homecoming Parade, begins at Terrell Tisdale Library

10:45 a.m. Pep Rally, C. L. Neill Student Center

11:30 a.m. Alumni Luncheon, A. B. Howard Gymnasium

11:30 a.m. Tailgating Under the Tents, Sim Cooley Field

1:30 p.m. Pre-game Band Show, Bobcat Football Stadium

2 p.m. Football Game

Halftime – Presentation of Honor Alum and Homecoming Court

The homecoming court will include:

Jasmin King as Homecoming Queen, Abby McNeil as Student Body Maid, Ashley Allen and Taniya Young as Sophomore Maids, Dariyel Johnson and Caidyn Crowder as Freshmen Maids, Ethan Cummins and Jada King as Mr. and Mrs. JC.

Tickets for the game can be purchased upon arrival and are free for students when they show their student I.D.
