UpDown brings fun to town

For many Jones County Junior College students, this semester is their first time to live away from home. Living independently for the first time can be terrifying yet liberating. This new-found independence presents students with the opportunity to strike out on their own in search of new interests. Luckily for everyone attending JCJC, fun and newly-trending experiences are located just a half-hour away in Hattiesburg, MS.

Along with the many dining establishments, shopping outlets and fitness centers scattered throughout the city, there is a new attraction in town, the UpDown Indoor Trampoline Park. This indoor park is Hattiesburg’s newest attraction, and it has thrilling obstacles that require active participation. The park’s activities easily separate it from the mundane entertainment that students are used to.

This 45,000 sq. ft. establishment is sure to unleash one’s inner child. Anyone who enjoys watching America Ninja Warrior has probably thought, “Man, I’d love to give some of those obstacle courses a try!” Well, don’t worry about creating an at-home ninja course. The UpDown Indoor Trampoline Park can make any athlete’s ninja dream come true. If the ninja training course doesn’t sound like a fun, action-packed playground, there is a variety of other exciting activities.

For those who enjoy basketball, go embrace the inner O’Neal on the dunk court, or dip, duck, dodge and dive on the dodgeball course. Give your best “American Gladiators” impression on the slack-line course. There is even a place for the gamer personalities in the park’s upstairs arcade. Don’t fret fitness buffs; there is a place in the park for you, too. Enjoy fitness classes to go along with the unadulterated childish fun. The park offers a variety of fitness-related activities for those interested in having a blast while getting into better shape at the same time.

Need to plan a party and don’t know where to hold it? UpDown has a place for parties. There is not much that isn’t offered at the Hub City’s newest pastime. Don’t be stuck in the dorm room on a rainy Saturday and think there is nothing to do. Bring a little cash, grab some friends and open a spot on the schedule. UpDown Trampoline Park has any and everything available for a fun, stress-free day on the town.
