With the semester halfway over, students may be looking at their grades and feeling a little stressed out. Heavy work-loads, late nights, skipped meals, it all weighs heavy on students’ bodies. Stress is inevitable, but students can learn helpful ways to cope with the help of mental health counselor, Sarah Jones, and her stress management class every Tuesday afternoon at 3:15.
“It’s a great way to meet people you wouldn’t normally interact with on campus and find common ground,” said Jones. “It’s a place where you can come and vent about frustrations you may be having while I teach ways to manage those problems and stressors we experience in life.”
Students are encouraged to stop by for the remainder of the semester. The class is located in the Terrell Tisdale Library, upstairs in the PACE center.
