Throughout campus one can hear the chatter of how students are excited for the week of Thanksgiving. Not only are students impatiently waiting for Thanksgiving for the break, but for the food such as turkey, dressing, dumplings, sweet potato casserole and pecan pie. Also, students enjoy Thanksgiving break because it gives them time to visit family members that they have not seen in a while.
There are many things students can do during their week off. During Thanksgiving break, students can go Black Friday shopping with their family to get good deals. Additionally, students can watch football games or the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade after eating their delicious Thanksgiving meals. Even though Thanksgiving is a day to be appreciative it is important to be thankful every day.
