Students anticipate Thanksgiving break

Thanksgiving is a time where many people celebrate their blessings and everything that they are thankful for.  Students at Jones College are eager to get out for Thanksgiving in order to celebrate the holidays and enjoy a time for relaxation. On campus, one can already hear the excitement of being out for Thanksgiving and how they are ready to relax before finals.

Students may celebrate their time off by visiting with loved ones that they haven’t seen since the school year began, go on vacation or go Black Friday shopping.  With their free time, the usually busy scholar can enjoy catching up on their favorite series or movies. The most exciting part of Thanksgiving break is the massive feast filled with trademark dishes such as dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and pumpkin pie.

J.C. will not have classes on the week of Thanksgiving break which is Nov. 25-29.  For students who live in the dorms, the dorms will close on Friday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m.  Dorm students will be notified via email on how to properly leave the dorms for the break.  J.C. wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and to be safe during the break!
