Jones students prepare for eventful spring break

Students and faculty can all agree that Spring Break is a much-needed break in the spring semester.  It’s great to take a week to relax before finals and graduation.  Spring Break for JCJC is March 12-18.  The dorms will close March 9 at 2 p.m.

As Spring Break quickly approaches, students are already planning how they will spend the break.  Popular ways that students at JCJC are spending their break is going to the beach, concerts and hiking.

Some JCJC students are being adventurous and spending their spring break in unique places.  JCJC sophomore Mykenzie Carmicheal will be taking a road trip to Colorado.  Along the way she is stopping in Waco, Texas where she will visit the popular HGTV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Market at the Silos.

JCJC sophomores Emily Keys and Brendi Jordan are taking a girls trip. Their first stop on their road trip will be to The Yard Milkshake Bar in Gulf  Shores, Alabama.  They will end their trip at Manatee Springs in Delon Springs, Florida where they will swim with the manatees.  JCJC sophomore Alex Hickson will be hiking the Appalachian trail in Georgia.

However students choose to spend their Spring Break, they should be sure to relax and be safe.
