JC Voices prepares for Spring concert

JC Voices is gearing up for an entertaining night full of music for the spring concert. In preparation, they have practiced every week and gone through multiple music selections to create the perfect arrangement. The event will take place on March 26 at First-Trinity Presbyterian Church in Laurel beginning at 7 p.m. Conducted by Dr. Susan Smith with Dr. David Goldblatt accompanying, the choir will perform a wide ranging program of choral music.

Many students within the group are looking forward to the performance and for the chance to stand in the spotlight.

“I’m looking forward to seeing all of our hard work being put out there and hopefully others will enjoy it as well,” said sophomore Kendra Stevison.

Students of all ages have prepared for the show and are happy to see their hard work pay off on Tuesday. The JC Voices have had many performances in the past and have created traditions to perform every year.

“My favorite memory with the group has to be this past Christmas concert, where we sang ‘Silent Night’ and we had an awesome light show. It was amazing,” said Stevison.

Parents and friends will join the JC Voices Tuesday in Laurel to watch them sing and create more memories to cherish for future years.
