Faith Gavin, a sophomore at Jones College, has plans to graduate at the end of the fall semester and attend William Carey University in the spring. Her major is nursing.
“I chose nursing because I want to make a difference in other people’s lives,” said Gavin.
She is excited to attend William Carey, but she is also sad about leaving Jones.
“My favorite part about Jones has been the Baptist Student Union. I am going to miss hanging out at the BSU everyday with all the new friends I have made there,” said Gavin.
After doing a trimester of basic classes, Gavin hopes to be accepted into the nursing program. She plans to be a travel nurse one day.
