If there was one issue that could be said to plague Ubisoft’s 2016 action shooter “The Division,” it was that the late game was boring and monotonous. Aside from the add-ons that players had to buy and the “West Side Piers” that are being added to the game, there was little to do in terms of progression. All that was left for players that were seeking a challenge was to undergo missions that had already been done before, just now with revamped enemies, and undertake grueling “Incursions” that could last for hours if players are coordinated and good at communicating with one another.
Fortunately, this area is where the Division 2 shines, as once players finish the final mission of the main story, the area of Washington D.C. the game is set in is invaded by a group known as the Black Tusks. They are a secretive private military group with highly-advanced equipment potent weaponry. From the Warhounds, small, autonomous, dog-like robots armed with a small auto-cannon to their heavily-armored heavy weapons units, the Black Tusks are the addition that the Division 2 needs to keep its late-game interesting. They’re more than just another faction. They have so far proven to be one of, if not the strongest faction in the Division history, meaning Agents will have to make use of all their tricks in order to push them back.
