Thoroughbreds is coming soon

A new suspenseful but funny drama will release in theaters on March 9. “Thoroughbreds” is directed and written by Cory Finley. The 90-minute film is about two childhood friends from Connecticut who relink after going their own ways for years. At first, the girls seem to be polar opposites. Amanda, played by Olivia Cooke, is more carefree and lacks emotion, while Lily, played by Anya Taylor-Joy, can be categorized as privileged and sophisticated.

They are brought together by their mutual hatred for Lily’s stepfather Mark, played by Paul Sparks. Their friendship instigates each other’s harsh and cruel edges. In an attempt to change their own lives for good they hire Tim, a local hustler, played by Anton Yelchin, to help them figure out how to handle the overbearing stepfather.
