Super Bowl half time show stuns viewers

The National Football League kicked off its 54th Super Bowl championship Feb. 2 in Miami Gardens, Florida between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. The night was filled with exciting entertainment from start to finish, including the Pepsi half time show.

The Pepsi half time show is known for its legendary talents and impressive theatrics. This year was no exception.

This year’s half time show made history by featuring two female Latinas as its headliners, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira. The two artists were joined on stage by Bad Bunny, J Balvin and even Lopez’s daughter.

Bad Bunny accompanied Shakira with a cover of Cardi B’s famous “I Like It.” Lopez was joined by J Balvin to sing along to Balvin’s own mass hit, “Mi Gente.”

One of the most important parts of the show included a cameo by Lopez’s daughter, Emme Maribel Muniz. At this moment, Muniz sang “Born in the U.S.A.” while Lopez sang her Latinx-infused song “Let’s Get Loud.”

Lopez was wearing a flag coat which showcased the American flag on one side and the Puerto Rican flag on the other in support of the U.S. territory.

The performance was completed with glamorous stage setups, backup dancers and vocals to match.

This half time performance will go down in history. Shakira and Lopez performed a highly difficult and unforgettable show with ease, proving their many talents to the nation.
