Gorillaz made a return to the entertainment world with “Humanz,” an assortment of multi-genre songs on their fifth album. Gorillaz is a British-based group consisting of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. Because they are multi-faceted, the genres they produce are alternative, hip-hop and electronica.
Though the band only consists of two members, they have a virtual band image to reflect every album. For years, they went unnamed, living behind the four characters 2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russell Hobbs.
Before the album was released, the group previewed four songs from the album. Some featured artists include Vince Staples, Popcaan, D.R.A.N. and Jehnny Beth.
This album has been highly anticipated and is highly recommended to everyone due to their broad sounds and styles.
