“American Horror Story” is an FX horror series that has gained a lot of traction over the past years for its controversial motives. Every season has an overall recurring cast line with a different, chilling plot.
The most popular recurring actors are Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson. However, only Peters, Paulson and Lily Rabe are in every season.
Though Lange was very popular among the fan base, Lady Gaga took her place in the latest season, “Hotel.”
Previous seasons include titles which also refer to the plot setting: “Murder House,” “Asylum,” “Coven,” “Freak  Show” and “Hotel.”
The most odd thing about the release of season six is that it does not have a subtitle and no real information has been released to tell what the season will be like. There are speculations of different events the show may base its episodes around, but none are confirmed.
Find out for yourself what the mystery season of “American Horror Story” is about this Wednesday on FX at 10 p.m. ET.
