2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees

The 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be shown on HBO on April 27.

To be nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, an artist or band must have released their first recording in the past 25 years. The 2019 inductees include Stevie Nicks, The Cure, Radiohead, Def Leppard, The Zombies and Janet Jackson.

Ballots were sent to over 1000 artists, music industry members and historians. The results were announced on March 29 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Stevie Nicks and Def Leppard received this honor even though it was their first time on the ballot. After the top six artists are chosen, an additional “fan” ballot is sent out to choose which four of the six will perform at the induction ceremony.

This year’s performers are The Cure, Stevie Nicks, The Zombies and Def Leppard. Tune in to HBO on April 27 at 7 p.m. to get a taste of the fame.
