The Lady Bobcats basketball team won the MACJC Tournament last Thursday, Feb. 28, with a victory of 58-52. This is the ladies’ third time to win the MACJC title. They will compete this week in the Region 23 Tournament. Jones has won Region 23 champs and has been to the NJCAA Division I National tournament the past two years.Â
The men’s basketball team played Wednesday in the semifinal game against Northeast Mississippi. The Bobcats pulled through with a win of 89-72. Thursday they played East Mississippi for the MACJC title. Unfortunately, the Bobcats lost against them 59-58.
