Hurricane Irma pushes back college football games

Hurricane Irma has displaced thousands of people from their homes, and now the University of Miami has had to change the dates of their games.

The Miami Hurricanes have had to move back their games with Florida State and Georgia Tech to later dates. The Florida State and Miami game was moved from Sept. 16 to Oct. 7 in Tallahassee. The Georgia Tech game for the Hurricanes was originally scheduled for Oct. 12 but has since been moved to Oct. 14.

These schedule changes were made to protect fans and players from flooding caused by Hurricane Irma.
